[Comment] Should AI have a seat in the selection committee for liver transplantation?. Both eligibility and access criteria for liver transplantation (LT) have continued to evolve as indications broaden; consequently, real-world selection committee (SC) deliberations are growing increasingly complex. Although artificial intelligence (AI) has been applied in LT to improve organ allocation and predict postoperative outcomes,1–3 its role in the multidisciplinary assessment of transplantation candidacy remains underexplored.
